The Hoope’s House is a beautiful and striking structure situated at the point of two streets across the street from Aransas Bay in Rockport, Texas. The home was built in 1890-1892 by  J.M. Hoopes, a prominent Rockport banker and developer.  Over the past one hundred years the property has been both a private residence and a luxury hotel.  Innkeepers Mike and Paula Sargent have loving restored the Hoope’s House to its original grandeur, preserving the important architectural features such as the “four Seasons” stained glass windows, pocket door and broadleaf pine flooring, while adding modern conveniences and amenities.  The main building offers four guest rooms upstairs. Each room features lavish, Victorian era décor and many antiques that were original to the house.  A new wing, offering four additional rooms in a more private setting was added.   Each room has a luxurious private bath with fluffy terry cloth robes.  Hoope’s House features elegant common areas.  Continental breakfast included with each room. The enclosed grounds feature tropical landscaping common to the Texas coast, with a large swimming pool in the center.  Rockport is a favorite destination for birding enthusiasts and fishermen.  Great area restaurants and shopping in downtown Rockport. Villa La Casita
	Villa La Casita – 1813 2nd Street, Corpus Christi, Texas.  78463. (361) 946-6606.  “A Villa by The Sea”. Located just off Corpus Christi’s Ocean Drive, this early 1900’s villa has all of the ambiance and tropical amenities of an Old World Spanish Hacienda.  The white stucco villa will accommodate up to three people.  It's an architectural delight with arched doors and windows and a spiral staircase.  Furnished with primitive antiques.  When you reserve the villa, you reserve the entire villa!
